Weekend/Holiday Medical Services
Weekend/Holiday Pharmacy
If you need medication after hours or on the weekend, you will have to go to a night/weekend pharmacy or “Nacht Apotheke.“
You can visit the link below for a list of night/weekend pharmacies; it shows which pharmacies are currently open in each district from 8 am today to 8 am tomorrow. Weekend/Public Holiday Medical Clinic
If you are sick over the weekend or outside of working hours for a clinic, you can call the Ärztefunkdienst which is the on call doctor service for Vienna. They can advise you as to whether you should go to their clinic which is open weekends and holidays 8:00 am to 2:00 pm or can dispatch a doctor to your home. They speak English but if you need any support making the call you can call the IES emergency phone.
